Elfra Nugent has a wealth of experience in design.
Elfra Nugent practise interior and architectural design in the Retail, Commercial and residential sectors.
Graduated in South Africa in 1989 with a distinction in design and began working with fellow interior designers on the Presidential House and other ministerial offices.
Elfra then gained a position in an architectural practise that gave her experience in interior design and architecture.
Elfra migrated to Australia in 2000 after her qualifications, portfolio and experience was assessed by the Australian Design Institute and determined as equivalent to an Australian degree in Interior design and or an affiliate architect.
Elfra gained experience at an interior design studio in Mosman NSW specialising in commercial and retail design. After 2 years she became self employed specialising in custom designed joinery in the commercial and residential sectors.
Due to the time demand of project management on her family, she moved her skills to graphic and packaging design. Elfra gained valuable experience of the demands and requirements of the retail sector.
Once her children became less dependant on her, she decided to return to practising as an interior designer.
